At under $300, it is also in the excellent value range and compares exceptionally to the smaller models put out by Stihl and Husqvarna.

Again, the big feature with the CS-346 is power and reliability. It comes with a standard 16 inch bar and chain and will handle many of the tougher jobs around the home.

Echo's CS-670 is popular as a felling saw and for good reason. It is a little ball of muscle and power and there are not to many tough or bigger jobs it won't handle. In other words, it will cut through just about anything without too much effort.

And that's important when considering safety. Once you start to exert pressure on a saw which is struggling then you increase the risk of getting hurt. The CS-670 handles these jobs easily. It comes with a standard 24 inch bar and chain and is all about power and reliability. And it's price tag makes a lot of similar saws on the market look a little ordinary.

The CS-670 can be bought for between $400-$600 depending on where you shop and is worth every cent and more. A definite inclusion in any Echo chainsaw review.
